Loan Assistant
Location:  Mercersburg Financial Center 

Summary
Primary experience in consumer residential with background in consumer compliance regulations.  Provides support to Consumer Lenders and Commercial Lenders, by performing administrative and loan processing. 

duties requiring advanced analytical and organizational skills.  Responsible for processing loan transactions, document preparation, file maintenance, report preparation and clerical duties necessary for the efficient operation of the department.  

Duties
·         Processes installment, time, demand and mortgage loans including booking process.
·         Prepares mortgage loan early disclosures, initial closing disclosures and final closing documents and checks.
·         Work with settlement companies to prepare closing documents.
·         Prepares mortgage payoff requests for attorneys and settlement companies and, as necessary, assists with payoff processing.
·         Notifies Loan Officers of large payoff requests for consideration/review. 
·         Assists customers with insurance claims.
·         Forwards individual to appropriate lender if more assistance is needed.
·         Manage appraisal process.
·         Assist Commercial Loan Officer(s) to facilitate closing of commercial loans.
·         Responsible for servicing of participation loans.
·         Set up and organize loan document files
·         Complete booking process following loan closing.  This includes assigning loan numbers and completing loan worksheet.
·         Generate, compile, or assist with all reports relating to the commercial loan function.
·         Responsible for internal loan monitoring program as per predetermined procedures and reports to Risk Management Officer.
·         Assist other bank personnel with questions regarding small business loans.
·         Review Loan Files
·         Responsible for loan review of commercial loans
·         Adheres to BSA policies and procedures
·         Other duties as assigned and/or are necessary.

 Specialized training or skills necessary for job performance
·         Thorough knowledge of banking and lending functions.
·         Thorough knowledge of both consumer and commercial lending.
·         Knowledge of TRID Regulations.
·         Advanced knowledge of bank policies and procedures regarding lending.
·         Enhanced computer, word processing, typewriter and calculator skills.
·         Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with others.
·         Ability to sell bank products and services to current and prospective customers.
·         Thorough knowledge of loan documentation system and core processing system.

Financial Advisor
Location: Mercersburg Financial Center
Hours/Week: 40

Description:

Position is responsible for developing client relationships, and delivering personalized investment solutions to help our clients achieve their financial goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / EXPECTATIONS:

Conduct retail non-deposit Investment sales within a defined marketing territory
Enhance customer relationships through the sale of Investment and Insurance products
Improve bank profitability through Investment and Insurance sales.
Follow up on all bank and BAR Financial, LLC generated leads.
Provide Investment / Insurance recommendations to bank and non-bank customers.
Perform Semi-annual BAR Financial, LLC or bank-sponsored seminars.
Perform prospecting activities to bank and non-bank customers.
Profile existing book of business. Conduct and track client review meetings, as well as appropriate drip methods.
Conduct “Center of Influence” marketing.
Conduct “Small Business Owner” marketing.
Gather minimum number of client referrals per quarter, and solicit new business from prospective customers.
Conduct regular client review meetings to enhance client relationships and to take advantage of additional sale opportunities.
Conduct daily customer interview and sale appointments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree (BS) from four-year College or university; or Associate’s Degree from two-year College, or equivalent experience.
Possess valid FINRA and state Insurance licensing certifications.
Possess a clean credit and U-4 CRD history
Three or more years experience in related financial planning / sales field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have Series 7, 63 and 65

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Utilize Microsoft, database, spreadsheet, and word processing programs.
Utilize available selling tools (Morningstar Principia, Financial Profiles, Pershing, Kettley’s Back Room Technician)
Working environment is generally within the bank branches, with daily travel between branch locations.

Strong detail oriented, analytical and research skills
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, work with all levels of management
