CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Summary

Provides a variety of service functions to current and prospective customers.  Involves the processing of customer transactions, cross selling of bank products and ensuring customer satisfaction with both the institution and our service.  CSR will provide support to AOM through a combination of knowledge and performance.  Advanced level of customer service will be expected. 

Duties

  • Provides professional customer service
  • Cross-sells bank products
  • Processes a variety of transactions such as loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, etc.
  • Daily reconcilement of cash drawer with acceptable balancing percentages
  • Ability to perform Head Teller function
  • Ability to perform complex transactions such as stop payments, cash advances, wire transfers, Reg CC holds, sale of monetary instruments, savings bonds and process customer disputes, etc.
  • Assist in balancing ATM
  • Assist with customer inquiries
  • Proper completion of Currency Transaction Reports
  • Perform various PCS functions such as memo post, etc.
  • Complies with banks policy and procedures
  • Adheres to BSA policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned and/or are necessary
  • Cross-train with AOM

Specialized skills or training necessary for job performance

  • Thorough knowledge of bank policies and procedures
  • Computer, typewriter, telephone, and calculator skills
  • Possess sound judgment and be detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with internal and external customers
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to identify when holds are necessary
  • Operate NDP machine
  • Ability to identify fraudulent transactions

 

OFFICE MANAGER

Summary   

Responsible for providing a full range of banking services to current and prospective customers with an emphasis on business development and meeting established growth and service goals. Ensures the operation of the branch is in compliance with policies and procedures. 

Duties

  • Provides professional customer service
  • Cross-sells bank products
  • Supervises the AOM (CSRs as needed)
  • Development of new business
  • Prepare and accept loan applications, ensuring all necessary information/documentation is obtained
  • Attend periodic manager meetings
  • Perform all branch functions as needed
  • Perform various PCS functions such as generating reports
  • Open personal and commercial accounts, ensuring all necessary information/documentation is obtained
  • Complies with banks policy and procedures
  • Approval of the cash order process
  • Review of  branch scheduling
  • Continued coaching of AOM including review/approval of evaluations and corrective actions
  • Cross train and mentoring with Regional Branch Manager
  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reporting and review of branch stats
  • Performs audit review and approval
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and career development meetings with staff
  • Responsible for the appropriate record retention within office
  • Community Involvement
  • Understanding of regulations
  • Responsible for branch facilities and proper operation of bank equipment
  • Periodic internal branch compliance testing
  • Adheres to BSA policies and procedures
  • Address and resolve customer complaints
  • Handles disputes
  • Performs security checks including checking alarms, facilities, camera review and operation
  • Account opening services and maintenances utilizing BPM and contingency
  • Other duties as assigned and/or are necessary

Specialized skills or training necessary for job performance

  • Thorough knowledge of bank services, products, policies and procedures regarding new accounts
  • Constant updating of federal and state regulations governing new accounts
  • Computer, typewriter, telephone, and calculator skills
  • Sound judgment and detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals
  • Ability to sell bank products and services to current and prospective customers
  • Scanning necessary documents
  • May perform duties of a AOM/CSR on a limited basis as necessary
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities
